The blouse is on a hanger in my workroom, waiting for me to finish it - beading sounds like an excellent way of disguising the stitches.Black Tuliphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00399472362773743743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4102653746369917661.post-3627662157414229062019-08-26T20:08:19.028+01:002019-08-26T20:08:19.028+01:00Indeed. All bases covered - although the belt over the blouse looks a bit too tight to be comfortable!Black Tuliphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00399472362773743743noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4102653746369917661.post-82251671687234847722019-08-26T15:04:01.510+01:002019-08-26T15:04:01.510+01:00Talk about multitasking! I think this wins a prize.Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05413150151279160155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4102653746369917661.post-63973185073506891532019-08-26T13:43:29.650+01:002019-08-26T13:43:29.650+01:00I really like the playsuit/overskirt pattern. It would be a nightmare to use the loo in it's original style! Would be lovely. My mother used to have a brunch coat. A little fancier than a housecoat. The idea was that if you were visiting people for the weekend or something you would wear it over your nightwear when called for breakfast (according to her). For some odd reason I was thinking about your handsewn satin blouse (for the yet to be made 1938 suit), I was handsewing some tricky fabric. What about some tiny pearls around the neckline to disguise the pick-stitching holding down the facing? I was thinking about doing this with my project. I really do enjoy your blog. Enjoy your box of patterns! <br />all the best. Susan Snowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15037437999317896232noreply@blogger.com
